I dreamt that I slept and had a dream
and heard the rousing spirits of Spring
and here is what I heard them sing ...
AWAKEN
from the deep slumber of your hibernating soul,
from snowy enchantment and the dreaming mind,
from the enticing spell of winter’s rest, shadow & angst
from the hypnotic addiction to the world you’ve woven thus far
🔥start afresh ! start anew ! start the wheels rolling!
break camp ! break the spell ! revive your inner nectar!
for Rebirth is just around the bend. Up, up! … It’s time.
STOP
stop telling yourself the same old story: about yourself, relationships, work, your life, the world at large …
step off the page ... for a moment.
stop the manic inner narrative – oh shameful failures, glorious success, endless frustrations, costly escape plans.
stop your addictions –
to that looming identity engraved in stone on your towering Wall of Ego
to your A-Z routine, so comfortably numb
to feeble attempts to melt into your screen
to accumulated strategies, attitudes, talismans and possessions
to taking cover, clothing yourself in excuses, nagging mirages
to ....
stop trying – to lasso everything into the orbit of your flickering Image.
LOOK
at the world of mirrors you have so carefully sculpted and polished
at yourself, looking back at you
and Behold … your very own Ground Zero.
and Behold … Spring has sprung.
LISTEN
to the echoing radiance, dwelling within …
to the call of your wild …
to the thundering presence of your beating heart ...
to the awe of your euphonious soul …
to the surprising silent symphony of your very own METANOIA 🔥
AWAKEN
to the essential aliveness at your core,
the deep still silent knowing,
the full, luminous emptiness of your being,
awaken to that creative well, the Source … the beginning of all invention.
Dip freely into the Well, draw up precious, fluid liquid visions, to reinvent a new story.
BE the holy-moly raging river of Life!
dance your life, dance your stories
into the new day, this new season of Spring.
